Vigo Church is held in the village hall located in "The Bay" at the centre of Vigo Village.
Vigo village is the easternmost end of the parish of Stansted with Fairseat and Vigo. (see map)
Services are held in the hall on alternate Sundays and give the opportunity to gather in a less formal way with our music group leading songs drawn from a range of sources.
The family service in particular is best described as lively and informal with an opportunity to try out new songs of praise from Mission Praise and other modern publications.
The village hall, having a small adjoining room, make it suitable to run a "Children's Church", the children leaving before the reading and sermon, to pursue a lively Sunday school with music and visual aids. The children rejoin the adults in time for final hymn or communion, followed by coffee and biscuits.
